Requirement interpretation
Organize the submitted BOM, RFQ or port schedule by endpoint, link, speed, form factor, media, connector, reach, topology and quantity.
AI-Assisted Requirement Review
NRCube’s pre-quotation analysis creates a clearer connection between the customer’s requirement, the proposed optical-connectivity products and the commercial quotation.
A procurement control
A customer requirement may combine OEM part numbers, platform models, port counts, speeds, distances, cable types and quantities. NRCube uses structured product data and AI-assisted analysis to organize that information before preparing a quotation.
The review is intended to reduce procurement errors and clarification cycles. It does not replace the customer’s or system integrator’s responsibility for architecture design, platform approval, deployment or final compatibility validation.
What NRCube reviews
Each check organizes the available evidence and keeps incomplete information visible.
Organize the submitted BOM, RFQ or port schedule by endpoint, link, speed, form factor, media, connector, reach, topology and quantity.
Compare stated ports, physical links and component quantities, including the two ends of duplex links and the endpoint structure of breakout connections.
Highlight combinations that need clarification, such as SMF and MMF conflicts, LC and MPO differences, BiDi pairing issues, reach gaps or native-versus-breakout confusion.
Identify absent platform details, far-end equipment, port modes, routed distance, connector type, fiber infrastructure, environmental requirements or cable length.
Compare suitable NRCube transceivers, DACs, AOCs, breakout cables, adapters and fiber-connectivity products against the confirmed requirement.
Keep every interpretation, unresolved question and platform-dependent requirement visible instead of presenting an unconfirmed assumption as fact.
Commercial option review
Where more than one technically suitable product is available, NRCube may compare alternatives based on availability, estimated lead time, pricing, reach, form factor, cabling requirements and other relevant deployment constraints.
Alternatives are presented with the assumptions and trade-offs used in the comparison. This helps the customer make a more informed procurement decision without implying that NRCube has designed or approved the network.
Review output
Depending on the information supplied and the scope of the enquiry, NRCube can document the following alongside or before its quotation.
AI-assisted requirement review is included with NRCube quotation preparation to help customers and system integrators identify missing inputs, reconcile quantities and compare suitable product options before making a procurement decision.
Human review remains essential
AI can organize, compare and flag information; it does not independently approve a network design or guarantee platform compatibility. NRCube reviews the analysis before presenting proposed products, while the customer or system integrator confirms architecture, platform support and deployment requirements.
NRCube will use OpenAI’s latest suitable GPT reasoning model—currently GPT-5.6 Sol—together with customer-supplied information, NRCube’s structured product data and explicit review rules. Pretrained model knowledge helps interpret terminology and relationships, but it is not treated as the authoritative source for product specifications or platform compatibility.
Worked example
This illustrative example shows how AI-assisted analysis can structure the input, reconcile quantities and prepare clarification points for NRCube’s review.
A system integrator provides the following data-center connectivity requirement.
| Line | Submitted requirement | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100G QSFP28 LR4, 10 km | 40 |
| 2 | 400G QSFP-DD to 4 × 100G breakout cable, 3 m | 8 |
| 3 | 25G SFP28 SR optics | 64 |
| 4 | Duplex LC-LC single-mode patch cords, 5 m | 40 |
| 5 | Spare optics | 10% |
The requirement is normalized into link, endpoint, media and quantity fields before checks are applied.
The submitted quantity is mathematically consistent, subject to confirming both endpoints.
The submitted quantity is mathematically consistent, subject to fiber and reach confirmation.
Eight breakout assemblies are consistent, but construction and endpoint form factor remain unknown.
The analysis keeps incomplete or conflicting information visible for NRCube and the customer.
After clarification, NRCube can prepare a traceable product and quantity summary before adding commercials.
| Confirmed requirement | Proposed NRCube option | Base | Spares | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100G QSFP28 LR4, SMF, LC | NR3100 QSFP28 LR4 family | 40 | 4 | 44 |
| 400G to 4 × 100G breakout, 3 m | Matching NRCube breakout family after construction confirmation | 8 | 1 | 9 |
| 25G SFP28 SR, MMF, LC | NR3025 SFP28 SR family | 64 | 7 | 71 |
| Duplex LC-LC SMF patch cord, 5 m | Matching NRCube SMF patch-cord family | 40 | 4 | 44 |
Illustrative only. Final NRCube part codes, quantities, compatibility statements, pricing and lead times depend on confirmed customer information and NRCube review.
