A PID map connects known identifiers and product-family descriptions to an NRCube SKU. Exact alias matches are prioritized, while descriptive searches may return multiple probable candidates.

Key planning checks

Exact source PIDs should resolve before fuzzy similarity.
PHY aliases can connect technology names to product families.
Descriptions and source specifications should remain attached to mapped records.
Unknown or ambiguous mappings should be shown as requiring confirmation.
